Completing the White or Green Ribbon means facing the whims of nature, which is both a physical and mental challenge. Hoping for the best but preparing for the worst is, therefore, a wise philosophy. And that includes having an emergency transmitter, among other essentials.
When completing either the White or Green Ribbon, a satellite-connected emergency transmitter is mandatory, as help can be far away and mobile coverage is often limited. However, the choice of provider or model is entirely up to you.
We recommend a satellite transmitter with two-way communication, allowing you to both send and receive messages.
