- After completing the journey, you’ll also receive:
- Your name on a beautiful brass plaque, displayed in the Hall of Fame at STF Grövelsjön Fjällstation.
- A stylish fabric patch with the White Ribbon or Green Ribbon logo, unique to you as a certified Ribboner. A patch to put on your backpack or favorite jacket.
- And, of course, a well-deserved, personal certificate!
You will also have the chance to purchase a selection of tees, patches, and other finish line items if you reach the finish!

- Hilleberg: You get a 20% discount on all tents in exchange for a number of photos from your trip. Discount code and more information are available via Cardskipper after registration.

As a participant in the White or Green Ribbon, you can enjoy various benefits during your journey. Here are some accommodations and services offering discounts to Ribbon participants:
- STF, Swedish Tourist Association: 50% discount on regular overnight prices at all STF mountain cabins for all Ribbon participants during their ongoing journey. The discount applies to unspecified beds and does not cover service fees, day fees, or accommodation at mountain stations. Overnight stays cannot be pre-booked but must be paid for upon arrival. To receive the discount, STF membership and proof of your White or Green Ribbon participation must be shown upon arrival (easily done via Cardskipper). STF members also receive discounts on DNT cabins in Norway equivalent to those offered to DNT members. Remember, as an STF member, you also get a 10–15% discount on train travel with SJ.
- Johka Arctic Experiences & Villas, Kilpisjärvi offers Ribbon participants a 10% discount on their “villas” accommodation.
- At Tundrea in Kilipsjärvi: Ribbon participants receive a 10% discount on accommodation. Must be booked directly via phone or email.
- STF Ritsem offers a 10% discount in the shop for all Ribboners (not applicable to accommodation).
- Stora Sjöfallet Mountain Lodge provides a 10% discount on accommodation and a 50% discount on meals (lunch and dinner).
- Naturum Laponia located by Stora Sjöfallet, offers all Green Ribbon participants a complimentary waffle and coffee, as well as a guided tour about the Laponia World Heritage area.
- Kvikkjokk Mountain Station offers free breakfast to participants booking accommodation. If booking online, write “White Ribbon/Green Ribbon” under “observations.”
- Adolfström Fjällgård provides a 50% discount on tent pitches and access to service facilities, washing machines, toilets, and showers.
- STF Hemavan Mountain Station offers a 20% discount on accommodation or tent pitches and access to service facilities, washing machines, toilets, and showers. Discount only available via phone, email, or walk-in bookings.
- Hotell Klimpfjäll provides free laundry facilities for all participants. Overnight guests also receive a free pizza.
- Sutme Stugby offers overnight stays with a 150 SEK discount, including free bedding. Sauna access and local knowledge are included.
- Ankarede (sommar-) Café treats all Green Ribboners to a complimentary waffle and coffee.
- STF Björkvattnet Vandrarhem & Spa offers a free spa visit for recovery and preparation, in connection with hostel accommodation.
- Gäddede Camping & Stugby provides one complimentary night’s accommodation and depot service.
- Pilgrimshotellet in Gäddede offers a 50% discount on hotel accommodation, including breakfast, and a 50% discount in the restaurant. Camping is free.
- In Valsjöbyn, Valsjöbua offers one complimentary night for participants at Valens Vandrarhem.
- Jänsmässholmens fjällhotell offers White Ribbon participants overnight stays, including dinner and breakfast, for 600 SEK.
- At Kolåsens Fjällhotell provides all participants with a 50% discount on hostel accommodation. Meal packages (breakfast/dinner bags) for self-cooking are available. Linen rental is offered at a 15% discount.
- Kallsedets Fjällcenter offers a 10% discount on accommodation (camping or hostel).
- Anjans Fjällstation treats passing Ribboners to a waffle with cloudberry jam. Overnight guests also get free sauna access.
- Åre Bed & Breakfast offers a 10% discount if booked directly with them.
- Hotell Åre Fjällsätra in Undersåker Undersåker provides a 10% discount on accommodation, including breakfast, saunas (indoor and outdoor), cold bath tubs, and gym access.
- Storlien Högfjällshotell offers tent-camping Ribboners a 10% discount on shower, bath, and sauna access. Hotel guests get a 10% discount on mini rooms (must be pre-booked via phone).
- Vålågården Camping in Östra Vålådalen offers a 20% discount on accommodation and prepared meals.
- Vålådalens Fjällstation provides single or double rooms at Tungården for 550 SEK per night. Includes private bathroom/shower and a large shared kitchen for self-catering.

- Fjällnäs Camping 15% discount on accommodation and “Hikers breakfast”.
- Strandgården Fjällnäs provides a 10% discount on double rooms in the guesthouse.
- Sjöstugan i Grövelsjön bjuder alla Bandare på en våffla och kaffe vid start eller målgång. Bandare får dessutom 100 kr rabatt på första natten (camping/tält eller rum/stuga).
- STF Grövelsjön Fjällstation treats all participants to a waffle and coffee at the start or finish. Participants also get a 100 SEK discount on the first night (camping/tent or room/cabin).
- Swedish Alpine Club offers a 1-year membership upon registration, with the opportunity to participate in training courses, club tours, and other mountain events. The beautiful magazine Fjället is also included. Register at Swedish Alpine Club and indicate that you are completing the White or Green Ribbon.
